As the Chicago Bears returned from their bye week on Monday to prepare for their next opponent in the Green Bay Packers, they achieved something that they had not done against the Packers since 2008.
Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears are favored against the Packers heading into a match up for the first time since 2008 when they beat the Packers 20-17 in overtime at home.

One of the main reasons as to why the Packers have been picked as the favorites since 2008 has been Aaron Rodgers who is now presumably out for the remainder of the season with a broken collar bone.
Backup Brett Hundley has been adequate since replacing Rodgers, but the offense and the team has a whole has struggled with Rodger’s absence losing their last two games since the injury.
The Bears being favored is only a good thing if the team is able to win on Sunday. If they lose on Sunday it would be unrealistic for them to be favored again this season except for the 49ers and Browns games in December.
