The Chicago Bears have signed free agent Tony Moeaki to the 90-man roster. He had previously been a mini-camp tryout with the Bears and apparently made a good enough impression.
#Bears roster was at 89 so addition of Wheaton-Warrenville South's Tony Moeaki (Iowa) does not require corresponding move.

Moeaki has had previous stops with the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons. In 47 games, he has 91 catches for 1, 201 yards and six touchdowns, including this impressive touchdown catch and run last year against the New Orleans Saints as a member of the Falcons.
The Bears traded tight end Martellus Bennett and a sixth round pick in the offseason to the New England Patriots for a fourth round pick in return. The Bears expect to get solid contribution out of Zach Miller as their new number one tight end, but depth behind him is a question mark.
