The Chicago Bears received some good news on Wednesday as the team prepares for their matchup Sunday with the Green Bay Packers. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery returned to practice after he’s been dealing with a calf injury that has sidelined him since August.

Jeffery wasn’t a full participant however, he was limited but did participate in some drills with the team. The status of the wide receiver for Sunday is still unknown. Wide receivers Eddie Royal (hip) and Marquess Wilson (hamstring) were also limited in practice on Thursday. Joining the three receivers on the limited list was linebacker Jon Bostic.
Two defensive players for the Bears missed practice on Wednesday. Linebacker Sam Acho is dealing with an illness and sat out but is expected to play on Sunday. Corner back Tracy Porter is dealing with a hamstring injury and sat out.
The Bears did get some good news on two players dealing with concussions. Both Jimmy Clausen and Eddie Goldman both had full participation in practice which means they have at least passed one step of the NFL’s concussion protocol.
