2:44 p.m.: UPDATE: The Bears have recently made changes to their injury report. Roberto Garza and Sherrick McManis are now DOUBTFUL and Matt Slauson is QUESTIONABLE.
The Chicago Bears are just a few days away from their week five matchup at Carolina and the team has already announced a few players OUT for Sundays game.
Here is the latest injury report after Friday’s practice at Halas Hall:
OUT
The Bears will be without starting tackle Jermon Bushrod after he suffered an apparent knee injury during practice Wednesday. The Bears officially listed Bushrod as OUT meaning Michael Ola should get the start in place of Bushrod.
The team will also be without two defensive players as Jeremiah Ratliff (concussion) and Ahmad Dixon (quad) have been ruled out. Ratliff has made some progress but has yet to pass the concussion protocol to return to game action.
QUESTIONABLE
Center Roberto Garza has been dealing with a ankle injury that has sidelined him for the past three games but is listed as questionable for the game Sunday. If Garza can play, he will be the starting center.
Corner back Sherrick McMannis is also questionable for Sunday’s game.
PROBABLE
Listed at probable is guard Matt Slauson who went down with a ankle injury in week one. Slauson is likely to return and would start, moving Ola to replace Bushrod.
After missing last weeks game against Green Bay, Jared Allen is set to make his return. The Bears defensive line could use this boost as they failed to get any pressure on Aaron Rodgers last week.
