The Chicago Bears have had their injuries on the offensive line and Thursday it didn’t get much better. Rookie center Hroniss Grasu missed Thursday’s practice with a neck injury he suffered on Wednesday. Grasu will likely be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
If Grasu can’t go, the Bears will have to shift their offensive line, something that happened when starting center Will Montgomery was hurt against the Oakland Raiders.
Joining Grasu on the did not practice list was linebacker Shea McClellin (knee) and defensive lineman Bruce Gaston (illness).
The Bears will likely get Jermon Bushrod back this week causing a decision to be made between starting Bushrod or Charles Leno Jr. The 24-year-old Leno has played well since replacing Bushrod at right tackle. Bushrod was limited in practice as he recovers from a shoulder injury. Tackle Patrick Omameh (ankle), safety Antrel Rolle (ankle) and guard Matt Slauson were also limited in practice.
