The Chicago Bears announced that they have put tight end Zach Miller on Injured Reserve after he suffered an injury during the teams game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Miller injured his foot in the first quarter and full details on the injury haven’t been announced. He was evaluated today on the injury. The 29-year-old was having a great training camp and preseason before the injury. He was emerging as the favorite to be the teams number two tight end.
Miller caught six passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns in the teams first preseason game against the Eagles.
He’s had injury problems in the past as well when he missed both the 2012 and 2013 seasons with injuries. He only played in just four games isn 2011.
#Bears say Zach Miller is going straight to Injured Reserve with his bad foot.
