The Chicago Bears made the decision to run it back by not firing Matt Nagy or Ryan Pace in the offseason. Instead, ownership feels confident the duo will turn things around and get back on track. But in order to do so, they need to solve the quarterback position which is something they have struggled with for decades.
Pace detailed that everything is on the table in terms of finding a quarterback this offseason as Mitch Trubisky is a free agent and Nick Foles is set to likely be on the roster due to his cap hit. So what should Chicago do?
Well, one analyst believes they are going to be “big players” in the market. FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer broke down the Bears quarterback situation and made some comments that suggest Chicago will be in on some of the top quarterbacks available in free agency, via trade or the draft. Here is what Glazer said about the situation:
Who will land Matt Stafford? Latest on Dak getting a new deal? What will Bears do at QB for next season?@JayGlazer answers those questions and more in this #AskGlazer! (Sponsored by @TruistNews) pic.twitter.com/BxtXfdZNnN

In the interview above, Glazer starts talking Bears at about the 4-minute mark and mentions Deshaun Watson, Matthew Stafford and a draft pick as the Bears’ top options this offseason. He also goes on to say that they will exhaust all options when it comes to the position.
Now, that makes sense because both Nagy and Pace are on the hot seat right now and it them coming back after next season is no guarantee. Fixing the quarterback position should be priority number one if they want to save their jobs.
