Before the 2025 NFL Draft began, Green Bay Packers legend Clay Matthews called out the Chicago Bears by saying Donald Trump told him the franchise, “still sucks.” Bears superfan and WWE superstar Seth Rollins wasn’t going to take the insults lying down.
Rollins had the opportunity to announce Chicago’s No. 56 overall pick, which they acquired in a trade with the Buffalo Bills. From the moment he walked onto the stage, holding a Bears championship belt, Rollins was ready to soak in the hate from the Green Bay crowd.

Once he officially got on the mic, Rollins didn’t let the fact that he was in Packers territory didn’t stop him from pumping up his Bears, via the NFL’s X account.
“Green Bay, Wisconsin, is that all you got?” Rollins started. “I know y’all made because championship gold looks good on the blue and orange. But in all seriousness, Green Bay we’re in the shadow of Lambeau Field. And I love Lambeau Field. Because the king of the North, the best quarterback in the NFC North Caleb Williams, is undefeated at Lambeau Field.”
“Let’s Burn it Down and Bear Down Chicago,” Rollins concluded.

Bears took Ozzy Trapilo

Once he was down taunting the crowd, Rollins eventually announced Chicago’s selection. The Bears took Boston College tackle Ozzy Trapilo.
He spent four years at Boston College, appearing in 43 games. Fully seasoned by 2024, Trapilo went on to earn First-team All-ACC honors. His final two seasons at the collegiate level came at right tackle. However, Trapilo has experience playing left tackle as well. Where exactly he begins his tenure with the Bears is yet to be seen.
But one thing you can’t teach is size, and Trapilo comes in at a towering 6-foot-8. Chicago is counting on the offensive lineman to grow into his body and continue developing his technique. While he may not be the biggest brand-name offensive lineman in the class, the Bears are confident in Trapilo’s potential.
After allowing a league-high 68 sacks in 2024, Chicago knew they had to burn down their offensive line plans and start over. Trapilo will help set the foundation for the Bears’ new offensive line. If they succeed as much as Rollins has over his WWE career, Johnson’s tenure will be in good shape moving forward.
