Carson Taylor, edge, Northern Arizona
Carson Taylor recorded six tackles and two sacks in his senior season at Northern Arizona. Taylor appeared in 42 games for the Lumberjacks, recording 70 solo tackles and 14 sacks. The 6-foot-4, 251-pound athlete is projected to play as an edge, and is versatile at both the linebacker and defensive line position per multiple scouting reports. Taylor will look to compete with with other rookies this season to help fill the void the Bears are left with in Khalil Mack’s absence.
