If you have ever wanted to hang out at the Pub with the famous Chicago “Superfans” from the classic skit on Saturday Night Live, you now have your chance.
Timothy O’Toole’s in Streeterville is launching the Swerski’s Chicago Pop-Up Bar for Superfans to help celebrate the Chicago Bears and the start of the 2019 NFL Season. The bar is located at 622 N. Fairbanks Court and will be open beginning Thursday, Sept. 5th, the same day the Bears will open up the 2019 season vs. Green Bay. It will remain open throughout football season on Thursdays-Sundays.
Visitors will be able to take photos next to cutouts of the SuperFans as well as use some props such as mustaches, sunglasses, hats and more for their Instagram shots. A special menu with items based off the Bears will also be served throughout the year.
For those who are not familiar with the skit and the SuperFans, a special video will also be created.
