Chicago Bears round two target: TreVeyon Henderson

If Johnson isn’t to the Chicago Bears’ liking, they could pivot to Henderson in the backfield. The Ohio State Buckeye was in a two-back system this past year when he won a national title, so he is used to sharing carries at a high level. There would not be much of an adjustment for him if he had the opportunity to work alongside Swift.
Despite being in a split backfield, Henderson still got 144 carries in 2024. He was a 1,000 yard rusher, as he finished the year with 1,016 and 10 scores on the ground. Henderson also had 27 catches for 312 receiving yards and four scores, which is something the Bears front office could be looking at when comparing him and Johnson.
Similar to Johnson, Henderson has elite acceleration and is a real home run hitter once he gets beyond the first level. He also blocks well and has a strong center of gravity, which allows for him to keep plays alive much longer than they normally would go on for.
