Chicago Bears round three target: JT Tuimoloau

Tuimolau saw much success at Ohio State in 2024 alongside his fellow edge rushing prospect in Sawyer. The four-year Buckeye broke out from a production standpoint this past season and his stock is truly all over the place entering day two. Tuimolau and Sawyer were anchors on the Ohio State defense that powered their way to a National Championship victory over Notre Dame in January.
Tuimoloau finished the 2024 campaign with 12.5 sacks and 61 total tackles. He had 7.5 more sacks in his final year at Ohio State compared to 2023 and he even forced two fumbles this past season. Tuimoloau possesses a wicked spin move as a part of his pass rushing package and his basketball background certainly plays a factor in that.
His length and general strength for his frame should be very intriguing for Allen when looking to add a potential long term fit to his defensive line. The Chicago Bears addressed the trenches big time last month, but Tuimoloau’s ceiling could take the unit to new heights.
