Chicago Bears round three target: Andrew Mukuba

There is no doubt that the Chicago Bears will look to add at the safety position at some point in the final two days of the draft. Similar to all of the other spots on the roster that they need to address, they will have options earlier on in day two to make a move in their secondary. If they choose to go a different route, Mukuba could be a guy they go with to serve as depth for the time being.
Mukuba spent the first three years of his collegiate career at Clemson before transferring to Texas ahead of the 2024 campaign. He broke out for the Longhorns in a big way, as he finished the year with five interceptions and 69 total tackles. Mukuba had one interception in his three years at Clemson, and he truly tapped into his potential since making the move to Austin.
Along with his nose for the football, Mukuba has fluid hips and is extremely explosive. He has a lot of the same traits as Xavier Watts of Notre Dame, who could be off the board for the Chicago Bears by the time pick 72 comes around.
