The Chicago Bears are set to meet with free agent wide receiver Brian Hartline on Wednesday afternoon, according to ProFootballTalk.
The free agent wide receiver met with the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday and is expected to make a decision on his future in the next 24 hours. Hartline was released by the Miami Dolphins last week as the team wanted to clear cap space, but a return to Miami is not out of the question.
The 28-year-old put together 1,000 yard seasons for the Dolphins in 2012 and 2013, but his production fell last year as he recorded only 428 yards. There are some options for Hartline in Chicago next season as he could try to fill in for Brandon Marshall if the team decides to move him. Hartline could also be part of the 3rd wide receiver mix in Chicago.
FA WR Brian Hartline scheduled to visit #Bears, per @ProFootballTalk. Hartline & Brandon Marshall are former teammates, and good friends.
