The Chicago Bears season opener is just five days away as the Bears will use the week to prepare for the Buffalo Bills in week 1. Today an unofficial depth chart was released, that gives us an idea on how the Bears will lineup.
The most notable thing is the starters at safety which are listed as Danny McCray and Ryan Mundy. One of the Bears biggest problems last season was the safety play, which they tried to fix this offseason. So far, not much improvement has been seen.
Mundy is listed as the strong safety, while McCray is listed as the free safety. Reports surfaced Monday that Conte is the favorite to start if cleared to play, but he’s been listed as a backup.
Rookie running back Ka’Deem Carey is listed as the second-string running back, followed by Shaun Draughn.
This is not official, but does give us a look at the current starters:

Defense
