3. Green Bay Packers, Week 1
The Aaron Rodgers era is over in Green Bay. The Packers are in the midst of a rebuild this offseason. This feels like a must-win game for the Bears at home in Chicago. Quarterback Justin Fields has more experience starting than Jordan Love. Fields will also have more experienced skilled offensive weapons than the Packers. It won’t get any easier for the Bears to beat the Packers than early this season.
The Packers will enter Week 1 with several rookies and second-year players starting at pass-catching positions. The Packers’ defense, like the Bears, is still rebuilding. Fields needs to get a win over the Packers here to start the season, or questions, fair or not, will continue to be asked about his longevity in Chicago.
