This game would have been more fun in Germany, but it’ll have plenty of importance to Chicago nonetheless. Bears fans will forever be reminded Pace’s front office chose to pass on Mahomes in the 2017 draft after telling him he was their guy. But this game means more to the new regime than Pace’s mistake. The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions. The Bears must use this game as a measuring stick to see where they need to improve if they want to contend for a Super Bowl in the next couple of seasons.
