The Chicago Bears could be without their first round pick for the entire season.
General Manager Ryan Pace announced before practice Saturday that wide receiver Kevin White will have surgery to repair a stress fracture in his shin. White will miss at least 6 weeks and its possible he could miss the entire season.
Pace said that White was symptom free when he returned to camp, but a setback has caused the surgery. “When Kevin returned to start training camp, he was symptom free,” said Pace before the Bears practiced on Saturday. “Late last week…Kevin suffers a setback.”
Pace also announced that White will begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
