The Chicago Blackhawks fell short in 2018-19, missing the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the second-straight season. Despite a mid-season run, the Blackhawks just weren’t consistent enough and are now hoping to turn things around for next year.
Chicago just selected center Kirby Dach No. 3 overall in Friday’s 2019 NHL Draft, hoping to add some scoring up front. With Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Alex DeBrincat, Duncan Keith and Corey Crawford still on the roster, the Blackhawks believe they still have the talent to make at least one more run.
On Tuesday, the franchise released their 2019-20 schedule which opens up in Prague on Oct. 4th vs. the Philadelphia Flyers. The Blackhawks will return home for their home opener on Thursday, Oct. 19th as they host San Jose. Check out the schedule below:
The Blackhawks longest home stand is seven games which spans October 10-24th. As for their toughest road stretch, that comes in February when they play 11 of their 14 games on the road that month.
