Columbus is going to have a major Windy City feel later this month.
The first batch of NHL All-Star selections were revealed earlier today and five Chicago Blackhawks were named to the team. The only non-Blackhawks player named to the first six selections was Buffalo Sabres center Zemgus Girgensons.
Forwards Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, defensemen Brent Seabrook and Duncan Keith join goalie Corey Crawford as five player who received the honor based on fan voting. Kane finished second overall behind Girgensons with 1,232,201. Toews finished third with 1,217,210 votes.
The game will be held January 25h in Columbus, Ohio.
