TSN’s Bob McKenzie reports the Chicago Blackhawks will play the Washington Capitals in the 2015 Winter Classic. The game will be held in Washington but the venue has not been announced yet. Rumors were the Philadelphia Flyers were the opponent, but McKenzie reports it’s the Blackhawks.
The rest of the 2014-2015 NHL schedule will be released at a later date.
