The Chicago Bulls just lost a thrilling four overtime game at the United Center to the Detroit Pistons on Friday but they did something they haven’t done since the “Jordan years” in Chicago.
Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose all finished with at least 30 points in the game, marking it the first time a trio of Bulls teammates have done that since 1996. In that year Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Toni Kukoc accomplished the feat in a regulation win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Butler led all scorers with 43 points which marks a new career-high for the shooting guard. Meanwhile Rose finished with 34 points on a career-high 34 attempts and Gasol chipped in 30 points. It was also just the second four overtime game in franchise history.
The Bulls will now travel to New York and take on the Knicks Saturday night.
