Jusuf Nurkic (Center)
Last season: 15 points and 11.1 rebounds (career-high) per game
The Bulls will have some options if they look to strengthen their frontcourt heading into the next season. Another potential option for Chicago lies in Portland’s eight-year big man. After earning 12 million this season with the Portland Trail Blazers, 6-foot-11 center Nurkic will likely be exploring his value in the market. Portland has already made it clear they plan to offer Nurkic a lucrative offer to keep him with the Blazers.
Nurkic has posted solid numbers throughout his career and appears to be entering his prime at just 27 years old. Chicago would certainly benefit from a strong center that can protect the paint, clean the glass and also contribute on offense. The addition of Nurkic to Chicago would re-shape the team as a whole on both offense and defense. He will come with a huge price tag and it will also likely result in the Bulls trading away Nikola Vucevic. These drastic changes could benefit the Bulls though, especially in the paint, something they struggled with during the postseason.
