Otto Porter Jr (Forward)
Last season: 8.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals in 22 minutes per game
Although it may seem silly to bring Porter Jr. back after just trading him away in 2021, he brings in a good mix of skills that would fill some holes for the Bulls on both offense and defense.
When looking at the Bulls’ depth chart, the team has an assortment of forwards who are mostly in their mid-to-late-20s. Some of Chicago’s forwards include Troy Brown Jr. (4.3 ppg.), Javonte Green (career-high 7.2 ppg), and Derrick Jones Jr (5.6 ppg.). These players have done what they could to make an impact for Chicago this past year (especially Green), but Chicago needs more from their swingmen.
The nine-year veteran stands at a tall 6’8” with a 7’1” wingspan. His scoring remains spotty, some nights he will provide scoring in the teens, and some nights he will score just 2 points. However, one factor that remains consistent which would help the Bulls are his rebounds, steals, and assists each night.
