Former Simeon star Jabari Parker is coming home to Chicago.
After reports circulated Friday that the Bulls and Parker were progressing towards an offer sheet, news broke that they had agreed to a two-year deal worth $40 million. The Milwaukee Bucks later rescinded the offer for Parker, making him an unrestricted free agent.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on the new deal Saturday morning:

The second year in Parker’s deal has a team option according to Wojnarowski.
After starring at Simeon, Parker played one season at Duke and was then drafted No. 2 overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. Parker played four seasons in Milwaukee but managed to play 50 or more games just twice in his career.
He tore his ACL back in February of 2017 and underwent surgery to repair it. The injury came during Parker’s best season as a pro, averaging 20 points per game. Parker missed the rest of the 2017 season and played in just 31 games for the Bucks in 2018.
The Bulls signed Parker with the intention of playing him at the three, giving them a potential lineup of Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, Parker, Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr.
