Jimmy Butler has done something that no Chicago Bulls player has done since Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in 1992.
With Team USA’s win over Serbia on Sunday, Butler has earned a gold medal. The United States defeated Serbia 96-66 in the Gold Medal Game to close out the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
Following the medal ceremony, Butler and teammate Niko Mirotic showed off their medals as they posed for a photo:
Yesterday we were opponents, today friends, tomorrow teammates in @chicagobulls Congratulations! pic.twitter.com/UZOurCulJO

Mirotic earned a bronze medal playing with Spain, who defeated Australia on a controversial ending Sunday.
Butler’s new teammate, Dwyane Wade, also offered his congratulations to the fellow former Marquette star:
Also big Congrts to my bro @JimmyButler … Another GOLD for @MarquetteMBB
