Nikola Vucevic and the Chicago Bulls look to extend their four game home winning streak with a win against the Sacramento Kings.
Preview of the game
After leading the Bulls to a victory over the Washington Wizards in which Zach LaVine played in 33 minutes going 14-21 with 33 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assist, and shooting .429% from behind the arc., he will look to extend his 30+ points per game streak to six games against the Kings. Both Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic come into the game averaging over 20+ point per game at home.
The Bulls will also look for another big game from from guard Josh Giddy who against the Wizards did a little bit of everything putting up 12 points, 7 assist, 13 rebounds in 32 minutes. Since returning from an ankle injury Giddy has been solid for the Chicago Bulls with averaging 24 minutes, 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Where do both teams stack up in their respective conferences
Both teams sit at similar spots in the standings in their respective conferences with the Sacramento Kings sitting in ninth place of the Western Conference, while the Chicago Bull sit in tenth place of the Eastern Conference. The Bulls come into the game with an 8-11 record at home with the Kings sporting a 9-7 road record making this an interesting matchup.
Notable players to watch
Some players to watch on the Sacramento Kings are their big man Domantas Sabonis and guard DeMar DeRozan. Sabonis for his part is averaging 36 minutes, 20.7 points, 14.2 rebounds, 6.2 assist, and shooting 59.2% from the field. While for DeRozan he’s averaging 20.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.9 assist, shooting 48% from the field, and 31.3% from behind the arch in 35.5 minutes.
The Chicago Bulls will need to make sure to lock both Sabonis and DeRozan down in order to be successful in the game. If both Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic continue their run of dominance, as well as Josh Giddy continuing his production, the Bulls should easily extend their home winning streak to a five games.
