The Atlanta Hawks went on a 10-0 run to take a 94-84 lead and would not look back.
Chicago is now tied 2-2 in their series with Atlanta.
Josh Smith scored 23 points, pulled down 16 rebounds, dished out eight assists and had two blocked shots, while controlling the transition game.
The Bulls were only +1 on the rebounding margin after dominating on the glass in their last two games (both victories).
Derrick Rose had 34 points and 10 assists but missed 20 field goal attempts.
Game 5 will be Tuesday at 7:00 CT.
