The Chicago Bulls may have struck gold with rookie Nikola Mirotic.
The 2011 draft pick was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for December, his first award in the NBA. Mirotic averaged 9.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game for the Bulls who went 11-4 in the month of December.
Mirotic has found his role with the Bulls offense and has shined with his opportunity. He’s started the past few games for the Bulls who have gone with a bigger lineup.
