The Chicago Bulls finally won a game after having a disastrous January.
The Bulls enter a three-game road trip where two out of the three teams played will come against playoff-caliber teams.
This will be a legit test to see if the Bulls can salvage the season or if they will end up selling at the deadline and go into a rebuild.
The Bulls did receive word on the status of their point guard Coby White and his outlook for the road trip.
Chicago Bulls guard could return tonight
Yesterday the Bulls received word that White was going to be questionable to go tonight against the Celtics per Bulls insider K.C. Johnson.
“Bulls list Coby White questionable vs. Celtics. Billy Donovan expressed optimism White may play on the 3-game trip but downplayed the chance in Boston. Bulls will be without Zach LaVine, who isn’t with the team. His wife has posted to social media the imminent arrival of their third child.“

Now it appears that White could be back with the Bulls tonight with Johnson tweeting out that White partook in the team’s shoot-around.
“Coby White participated in shootaround and is trending towards playing vs. Boston. Billy Donovan originally downplayed his chance for tonight.”

This is welcoming news for the Bulls who will be without their star Zach LaVine whose wife is expected to give birth to their third child. The Bulls could use Whites’ production on the offensive side with LaVine out.
The production of White
White has missed the Bulls past four games after suffering an ankle injury on a scoring drive in the loss against the Portland Trailblazers. White has had a solid season for the Bulls averaging 18.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 32.6 minutes played.
Before going down White was having a great month of January where in 9 games he averaged 19.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. If White is good to go against the Celtics he should have a good game with having 12.3 points, 2.7 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in three games played against Boston.
The Bulls recently pulled off a 129-121 victory against the Denver Nuggets after head coach Billy Donovan shuffled around the lineup. With White set to hopefully back tonight and with having a new lineup inserting White production in should help the Bulls get some more wins.
The future of the Bulls
With both the trade deadline and the All-Star break coming up the Bulls need to enter both winning games so they can have a better second half.
Having White come back adds some much-needed reinforcements to a depleted Bulls lineup.
