The Chicago Bulls look to bounce back against the Atlanta Hawks after losing to the second worst team in the NBA.
The Chicago Bulls are coming off a devastating loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in which they were defeated by a score of 119-113. The Chicago Bulls will look to shake off that loss with having to have a quick turnaround with playing the 20-19 Atlanta Hawks tonight.
What to expect from the Hawks?
Even though the Chicago Bulls lost to the second worst team in the league they now have to quickly turn around and play the Atlanta Hawks who are just ahead of them in the Eastern Conference standings. Trae Young and his 20-19 Hawks are coming in looking to add another win to their column after defeating the Phoenix Suns 122-117. The Atalanta Hawks are 2-3 in their last five games with Trae Young averaging 22.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 12.1 assist (good for first in the NBA), and shooting 40.1% and 33.9% from both the field and behind the arc for the season. The Bulls will hopefully get back on track and put a win back on the board.
For the Chicago Bulls
The Bulls will have to have Zach LaVine be better than he was in the game against the Pelicans in which he had five turnovers. In LaVines last ten games he is averaging 35 minutes, with 38 points, 5.3 assist, 5.8 rebounds, with shooting over 50% from the field and behind the arc. The Bulls will need to have LaVine to limit the turnovers and score over 30+ points again if the Bulls can have success in the game.
Injury report
The injury report for the Bulls have both Adama Sango and Torrey Craig are out with a knee and leg injury with Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu questionable with an eye and achilles. For the Hawks they have Larry Nance Jr. Jalen Johnson, and Cody Zeller all out for tonight’s game with Trae Young and Bogdan Bogdanovic both questionable with Achilles and a knee respectively. Kobe Bufkin is out for the season with a shoulder injury.
If Trae Young does in fact play tonight it will be crucial for the Bulls to contain him and stop him from being the facilitator in order to have a chance to win.
