The Chicago Bulls have found their guy and it’s no surprise who it is.
After months of speculation that the Bulls would bring in Fred Hoiberg to replace Tom Thibodeau, it’s finally happening. The Bulls will host a press conference to announce the hiring of Hoiberg tomorrow at 2 p.m.
Hoiberg is set to become the 22nd head coach in franchise history, replacing Tom Thibodeau who has the second best record behind Phil Jackson. The move comes just a few days after the team announced that Thibodeau would be relieved of his duties.
It didn’t take long for the Bulls to find their man who was atop their list all along. Hoiberg was in Chicago working on a reported 5-year-deal with the Bulls today. The two sides have come to an agreement and will announce the contract tomorrow.
The press conference is set for 2 p.m. tomorrow and will be broadcasted live on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
