The Chicago Bulls recently announced that Torrey Craig is out for at least two weeks due to a sprained right ankle, which means he’ll be out for at least the next eight games.
The 34-year-old swing man is in his second full season with Chicago. Torrey Craig has played sporadically this campaign, appearing in only nine regular season games (one start), averaging 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds on 49/43/70 shooting splits.
When healthy, Craig is a serviceable 3-and-D player who can play both the small and power forward positions. Before signing with the Chicago Bulls in 2023, the USC Upstate product had stints with the Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, and Indiana Pacers.
Torrey Craig (ankle) joins Ayo Dosunmu (calf), Coby White (neck), and Adama Sanogo (knee) on the Chicago Bulls’ injury list. Dosunmu and White are upgraded to questionable for the New Orleans Pelicans game later.
Chicago Bulls aim to get back on track against the New Orleans Pelicans
The Chicago Bulls are fresh from a 124-119 loss against the Sacramento Kings last Sunday, and they can bounce back with a winnable game against the New Orleans Pelicans, one of the worst teams in the NBA with an 8-32 record.
Zach LaVine has been on a scoring tear for Chicago, as the two-time NBA All-Star has scored at least 31 points in his last six appearances. The 29-year-old guard is fresh from a 36-point outburst against Sacramento.
