The Chicago Cubs have acquired pitcher Felix Doubront from Boston, according to Jim Bowden.
The Red Sox will get a player to be named later in the deal. Doubront has struggled for the Red Sox this season and they decided enough was enough. The 26-year-old has a 6.07 ERA in 17 games this season. He has 46 strikeouts and 26 walks in 59.1 innings pitched.
