Another prospect will be joining the Chicago Cubs. The team has called up prospect Jorge Soler, who will make his major league debut Wednesday night in Cincinnati according to reports.
The outfielder was pulled from his Triple-A game earlier Monday night with speculation of a move. Now it’s official and another part of the future is joining the team.
Soler has played in rookie league, Double-A and Triple-A this season hitting .338 with 15 home runs and 58 RBI combined through the three leagues. He is expected to play right field and hit fifth or sixth.
