By now you’ve probably heard that it is David Ross’ final season in Major League Baseball.
The Chicago Cubs catcher revealed during Spring Training that the 2016 season would be his last, giving him one more shot at another ring.
The team has had some fun with Ross as Jason Heyward is paying for a hotel suite on every road trip, Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo have created a “Grandpa Rossy” Instagram and now a campaign to get him into the All-Star Game.
On Wednesday following the Cubs win over the Philadelphia Phillies, the team released a special video instructing fans to vote for Ross and other Cubs players. The video is pretty damn awesome:
Give Grandpa Rossy credit. He’s trying to #VoteCubs.
