You can relax for a little bit Cubs fans.
After placing starting pitcher Yu Darvish on the 10-day DL a few days back, the team announced that an MRI was scheduled to determine any further damage. After waiting all day on Tuesday for the news, we finally have an answer.
Cubs executive Jed Hoyer revealed through a spokesman that there was structural damage and instead have called it right triceps inflammation.

Darvish is eligible to come off the DL on June 2nd, giving him a few more days to rest. With him beginning a throwing program this weekend or early next week, Darvish will likely miss his next scheduled start.
