The Chicago Cubs are just coming off a 3-3 home stand that ended with them being swept by the St. Louis Cardinals. But their trip to Miami might help get the spirits up.
The latest road trip theme comes at the hands of first baseman Anthony Rizzo. The “Anthony Rizzo short shorts” road trip calls for players to wear their shortest shorts and their shortest sleeves on the trip. Flip flops are allowed but your toe nails must be painted.
After seeing the Cubs wear zany suits and track suits in previous road trips, this one might take the cake:

The Cubs are still 9.5 games up in the NL Central but being swept by your rival is tough. Hopefully they can come back from the long road trip back up double digits.
