“I got the most out of my career with the Cubs”

In a recent interview with the Chicago Suntimes, Hendricks had a great quote about his tenure with the Cubs. He said, “I feel like I put everything I had into it every single day. I was surrounded by so many people who made me a better person, a better player, and the list is long. I’m so thankful to all of them. Kyle Hendricks is looking to prove himself with the Los Angeles Angels

Coming off a bad season, Hendricks is looking to return to form in 2025. He has the chance to be a back end of the rotation starter for the Angels with Yusei Kikuchi, Tyler Anderson, and Jose Soranio listed ahead of him on the depth chart. Hendricks, a pitcher who doesn’t throw hard and relies on location to get outs, has a long track record of success on his resume that is working in his favor.
Chicago and Los Angeles will meet August 22-24 for a three game series on the West Coast. At that point we will know how Hendricks new journey with the Angels is going and if he returns to form or not.
