The Chicago Cubs are fresh off a three-game sweep of the Miami Marlins and winners of 7 out of their last 8 games.
They have a quick three game road trip in California this weekend as they will take on the Oakland Athletics in the Bay. But before the team opened up the series, they had an off day on Thursday and it looks like they had some fun.
Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Jon Lester, John Lackey, Miguel Montero, Jake Arrieta, David Ross and assistant hitting coach Eric Hinske decided to play a round of golf at the Pebble Beach.

The one thing that stands out right away is Arrieta’s shorts. Those are surely an attention getter on the course.
Judging by Bryant’s caption, it may have been Lester’s idea and he may have treated the team to a round of 18 at the famous course.
It’s just nice seeing these guys stay loose as they continue to play some good baseball.

My family was lucky enough to run into Rizzo, Bryant, and Ross by the first tee. The guys were so nice and took pictures with us! Best day ever!
