Chicago Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber may be out for the season after suffering a leg injury in April, but he’s still a big part of the team.
Schwarber has been spotted in the dugout cheering on his teammates and will also be the grand marshal at the upcoming Big Ten 10K run in August. But Schwarber is much more than just a baseball player.
In 2015, a video of Schwarber in his high school choir surfaced as he showed off his singing and dancing skills as a member of the “Purple Pizzazz.” See for yourself:
Now his teammates are getting in on the fun by reenacting Schwarber’s choir days with a video of their own that was shown during Sunday’s Cubs game against the Rangers.
Here’s another look that aired on ABC 7:

Anthony Rizzo and the rest of the guys seem to be pretty into it. Never change, Cubs.
