The Chicago Fire are gearing up for the upcoming MLS season as they look to improve off of last seasons finish. When the Fire take the pitch this season, they will be doing it in style.
The team officially unveiled a new secondary kit as part of the MLS third annual Jersey Week. The new kit is primarily white but pays homage to the City of Chicago with two horizontal blue lines across the front above and below the Quaker sponsorship. The color is to represent the city as it matches the the city flag. The team slogan “Tradition, honor, passion” is featured on the jersey’s neck tape.
The uniform will be sported a total of 14 times this season with the first appearance March 22 vs. San Jose.
