The Chicago White Sox will play the series finale of their three-game set against the Cleveland Guardians and will try to avoid getting swept for the second straight series.
The White Sox saw two more injuries occur during the second game, with Mike Tauchman suffering a second hamstring injury and Korey Lee tweaking his ankle during a pickoff attempt to first base.
These injuries to Tauchman and Lee come on the heels of Andrew Benintendi being placed on the injured list with a left adductor strain. With all three out, the White Sox will look for others in the lineup to provide production.
Chicago White Sox announce five roster moves

Before the series finale in Cleveland, the White Sox announced through their Twitter/X account that they’ve made five roster moves by placing Tauchman and Lee on the 10-day injured list and selected the contracts of outfielder Joshua Palacios and veteran catcher Omar Narváez from Triple-A Charlotte and Double-A Birmingham.

The White Sox also released right-handed pitcher Juan Carela. Carela missed all of spring training after needing Tommy John surgery and will miss this season. Carela was the White Sox’s No. 21 ranked prospect.
The struggles continue for the White Sox

Hopefully, Palacios and Narváez can come up and provide a spark to help the White Sox end their seven-game losing streak.
Palacios was doing okay at Charlotte, slashing .231/.421/.308 with an OPS of .729 in five games. Narváez is hitting .250/.333/.375 for an OPS of .708 down at Birmingham.
Palacios could slide into a platoon situation with utilityman Brooks Baldwin for the rightfield job, while Narváez could continue the platoon at catcher with Matt Thaiss.
