With all of the controversy surrounding Chris Sale and his new found interest in the fashion industry, many people are overlooking the value that could be involved for the Chicago White Sox by dealing away lefty Jose Quintana.
This season Quintana has taken the mound in 19 starts and has an 8-8 record. The eight losses have had more to do with the lack of Chicago’s offensive production than Quintana’s pitching. He has an ERA of 3.13 and has sent 112 batters back to the dugout on strikes while only giving up 31 walks.
After Clayton Kershaw’s back injury, the Los Angeles Dodgers seem to be a perfect partner in a trade with the White Sox. The Dodgers have seven of the top 100 minor league prospects that could provide what the South Siders are looking for in return.
The Dodgers currently have the fourth best rotation in the National League with a 3.48 ERA. However, with the absence of Kershaw, they are going to need another reliable arm to remain one of the top contenders throughout the NL.
Source says not to rule out a mega deal with #RedSox acquiring both David Roberston and Jose Quintana. #Dodgers hot on Quintana as well.

There have also been rumors that the Boston Red Sox are in hot pursuit of not only Quintana but would want to be part of a major deal that also included right-handed closer David Robertson from the Chicago bullpen.
As reported earlier by @barstoolWSD, this source offered secondary confirmation that #RedSox have serious interest in David Robertson.
