Multiple reports say the Chicago White Sox have agreed to a deal with first round draft pick Carlos Rodon. The deal is reportedly worth $6.45 million for a potential star pitchers.
The White Sox drafted Rodon with the third overall pick and have signed him to an above-slot deal. The No. 3 picks value was $5.721 million.
Rodon has the potential to be a star in the majors with great stuff and a fastball that can touch 97 MPH. His control issues scared scouts a little bit, but he has time to fix that.
If the Sox prospect works out, we could see him and Chris Sale dominating the big leagues soon.
