White Sox rotation
Along with losing Lynn and Giolito in April, the White Sox were greeted with a harsh reality about the team. The rotation, particularly, the backend of the rotation isn’t good.
Dylan Cease has carried the pitching staff in his five starts, with his fastball-slider combo allowing him to be dominant on the mound. Otherwise, the White Sox have received inconsistent starts. Michael Kopech has pitched well but on an innings count, fails to give the team longevity.

Dallas Keuchel, meanwhile, had a promising first start but has been a massive letdown since. In only four starts, Keuchel has allowed 19 runs and is struggling to control his cutter, resulting in four home runs. The White Sox are starting the 34-year-old pitcher out of necessity early on. However, with a healthy pitching staff, we might see the veteran pitcher removed from the rotation.
