2017 Fantasy Football Rankings: QB | RB
Anyone who needs a reminder of how consistent the wide receiver market is in fantasy football, look no further than this list.
Each year, more names appear as options making it the deepest position in the game. While it’s a relief how many players there are to choose from, waiting too long can result in an ugly scenario for your team.
Rank | Player | Team | Bye |
1 | Antonio Brown | PIT | 9 |
2 | Odell Beckham Jr. | NYG | 8 |
3 | Julio Jones | ATL | 5 |
4 | Mike Evans | TB | 11 |
5 | A.J. Green | CIN | 6 |
6 | Jordy Nelson | GB | 8 |
7 | Michael Thomas | NO | 5 |
8 | T.Y. Hilton | IND | 11 |
9 | Doug Baldwin | SEA | 6 |
10 | Dez Bryant | DAL | 6 |
11 | Amari Cooper | OAK | 10 |
12 | DeAndre Hopkins | HOU | 7 |
All eyes will be on Brown this year as it could be his last with Ben Roethlisberger throwing to him. If that’s the case, his value could take a significant hit based on previous seasons with the backup under center.
Thomas is set for a 100-catch season in New Orleans but his long-term value could also dip if Brees walks away soon.
The WR1 tier provides production throughout. Hopkins should bounce back to 2015 marks as long as DeShaun Watson is the man under center for the Texans.
13 | Keenan Allen | LAC | 9 |
14 | Brandin Cooks | NE | 9 |
15 | Demaryius Thomas | DEN | 5 |
16 | Terrelle Pryor | WAS | 5 |
17 | Alshon Jeffery | PHI | 10 |
18 | Davante Adams | GB | 8 |
19 | Michael Crabtree | OAK | 10 |
20 | Allen Robinson | JAC | 8 |
21 | Jarvis Landry | MIA | 11 |
22 | Golden Tate | DET | 7 |
23 | Emmanuel Sanders | DEN | 5 |
24 | Martavis Bryant | PIT | 9 |
Mike Williams’ injury provides a perfect opportunity for Allen to dominate the Chargers’ offense – he’ll just need to stay healthy to do so.
Pryor may flirt with 1,200 yards this year now that he has a competent quarterback throwing to him in Kirk Cousins. Another big risk, reward player is Bryant. If he stays out of trouble, he’s a WR1 player.
Roethlisberger’s game was through the roof with the fourth year wideout on the field, but how will his year away from the game affect his play?
25 | Larry Fitzgerald | ARI | 8 |
26 | Tyreek Hill | KC | 10 |
27 | Julian Edelman | NE | 9 |
28 | Jamison Crowder | WAS | 5 |
29 | Willie Snead | NO | 5 |
30 | Stefon Diggs | MIN | 9 |
31 | Jeremy Maclin | BAL | 10 |
32 | Brandon Marshall | NYG | 8 |
33 | Sammy Watkins | LA | 6 |
34 | Donte Moncrief | IND | 11 |
35 | Kelvin Benjamin | CAR | 11 |
36 | Cameron Meredith | CHI | 9 |
Watkins’ trade to Los Angeles pulls the rug out from under his value. It’s possible Sean McVay knows what he’s doing and turns that offense into a respected…ah who am I kidding. Maclin and Marshall will bounce back from down 2016 campaigns wearing new colors.
Meredith has the potential for a top-20 campaign depending how the Bears’ quarterback situation pans out.
BEST OF THE REST
