The best word to describe Week 10’s slate of games was: unpredictable. So many consistent options failed to get on the board with their usual numbers, while other players including Alvin Kamara and Adam Thielen continued their impressive seasons with big games.
Fantasy owners everywhere can celebrate this being the final week of byes, too. Thankfully, it’s also the least impactful week of players enjoying a week off as San Francisco, Indianapolis, Carolina and the New York Jets are your final four teams riding the benches (except for that guy who checked out and hasn’t looked at his lineup since Week 3).
Quarterback
There really aren’t a whole lot of bad matchups for quarterbacks this week among the top 15. The most intimidating of the bunch you could argue is Matthew Stafford who has struggled immensely in Chicago over the course of his career to the tune of a 8:10 TD/INT ratio which includes two terrible games last season.
If you’re looking for a sleeper, take Jay Cutler this week as he goes up against a not-so-great Tampa Bay defense. Smokin’ Jay has multiple touchdown passes in each of his last four games — a streak that should continue this week.

Running Back
It’s always strange placing two players on the same team within the top 10 of a given position, but the Saints’ Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have been so good lately, there’s little doubt about their ascension through the rankings.
Be weary of Leonard Fournette who continues to be used in a strange way, finding himself being faded as the game carries on. Cleveland is the #1 run defense in the league, which is just about the only thing the Browns can hang their hat on.

Wide Receiver
Tyreek Hill is playing away from Arrowhead which means he is due for a big game (seriously, look at the strange home/away splits). Despite the matchups they’ll be attracting, the target shares of Michael Thomas and DeAndre Hopkins still make them very solid options this week. When you’re getting 30% or more of a game’s targets sent your way, it’s all hands on deck.
Corey Davis is ranked WR32 this week, but I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Thursday night is his big breakout game. The rookie has the skills to be a big name in the league and going up against a beaten up Pittsburgh secondary could be the perfect recipe to get his game in motion.

Tight End
Once and only once will Travis Kelce overtake Gronk atop the tight end rankings when both are playing in a given week, and that’s when the Chiefs play the New York Giants, a team that has allowed a touchdown every single week this season to a tight end. The best part? He isn’t even the highest priced player at the position in DFS leagues this week!
Tyler Kroft is also a great play this week against a Denver defense who has done little to stop tight ends themselves. I’m expecting a line of 5-60-1 out of Kroft this weekend.

Defense/Special Teams
The Jaguars should decimate Cleveland this weekend, but if you’re looking for another great play this week, look no further than the Chargers taking on Buffalo. With Nathan Peterman now under center, chances are LA will come at the rookie early and often. Chargers rank 3rd among blitz success, while Buffalo ranks fourth worst in defending against the blitz.
