The ChiCitySports Five Star Athlete of the Week is…
Blackhawks goalie Anti Niemi
Niemi played well the past week, including a series win against the Vancouver Canucks, sending the Hawks into the
Western Conference Finals for the second straight season.
Niemi also had a unbelieveable game in game one of the Western Conference finals, leading the Blackhawks to a 2-1 win in San Jose. Niemi saved 44 out of the Sharks 45 saves.
