The Chicago Bears are set to interview General Manager candidates Chris Ballard and Lake Dawson this week according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tennessee’s Lake Dawson will be first with his interview on Tuesday, followed by Kansas City’s Chris Ballard on Wednesday. With Dawson’s interview, it will satisfy the Rooney Rule for the Chicago Bears.
Last week it was reported that Ballard would be the favorite to get the job according to sources, but hasn’t had a formal interview until now. With this being the second week of the general manager search, a decision could be made next week as the Bears want to get a GM in here quick.
Bears GM interviews continue this week with Tennessee's Lake Dawson on Tuesday, and Kansas City's Chris Ballard on Wednesday.
